When a friend recommended this Southwestern-style restaurant as being excellent, we expected a good Mexican meal. We got a lot more than we expected. While there are mexican-type dishes on the menu, I would classify most of the menu as more innovative than that. It's fine food with a southwestern flavor. It reminded me of a good Santa Fe cafe. We started with salsa and chips. They were not your ordinary chips. Very crispy and flavorful. We shared a delicious salad, and it was plenty for two or even three people. Fresh greens, Mexican sausage, and a spicy (but not too spicy) dressing. I then had scallops and risotto, which was excellent. My wife had halibut served with a nice array of vegetables. Her fish was fantastic. Everything was enjoyable ... the drinks, the food, the ambiance, the service, and even the prices.
Pros: Ambiance, food, service
Cons: Parking
