Terrible company with unethical sales practices. I was in the process of purchasing a home in McKinney and was planning to use Ryland Finance. Ryland Finance rep would never give accurate or complete numbers. I tried over and over to get complete details and it was always a shell game. Very fuzzy numbers. Then the Sales woman said NO NO NO to everything I asked the to do. The house needed repairs before move-in and I was told they may or may not be done. Then I discovered that their construction people were going into the house to use the restroom. I went to measure for flooring (which Ryland WOULD NOT help me with) and discovered a disgusting mess in the commode. I informed the sales woman. Days later when I went back into the home the restroom was still in the same condition. Finally, because of the horrible treatment from the Finance person, the contract ran out. Ryland kept my good faith downpayment and told me they sold the house to another buyer. So they may have been selling the same house to Two buyers at the same time. UNETHICAL COMPANY. BEWARE!!!! I feel ripped off!!! and I am out a lot of money!!!
