We used Olympic Movers to move our goods out of state. They were unorganized, understaffed and underequipped for the job. Our goods arrived with major damage due to their negligence. Some items were thrown onto the truck without any pads. The delivery guys spent 2 hours trying to turn their truck around and got it stuck twice. We had to use a construction tractor to pull it out. Brett Chilton (the owner) knew they were going to have problems with our move, but loaded our stuff without saying a word. Once it was loaded he held it hostage until we paid a much higher fee than was estimated. We have made our damage claim for $12,000, but so far have received nothing in almost 8 months. Brett came up with an aribitrary settlement amount of $4,500 and told us that he has no assets, and if we don't agree to this reduced amount then we won't ever see a dime. He comes across as very professional, and can write very nice emails, but he does nothing to actually resolve our claim or offer to send a settlement check. PLEASE BEWARE! Do not use this company. Next time I would use a major moving company. They might be a few bucks more money, but you won't have the ongoing problems and damage to your property.
