Not bad for the exurbs 1/23/2007

Despite my average rating I eat here once or twice a month. We can't be too choosy here in the sticks. You pay upon entry so there's no looking around for your server when you finish. The food is OK but I wish there were more variety. Oh there are lots of dishes it's just that they're almost all chicken. I love chicken but I wish they had more beef and pork dishes. The rice dish is vegetable fried rice. Good for vegetarians, not so good for carnivores who would prefer pork fried rice. Similarly the dumplings are steamed, not fried as I prefer. Maybe the place it just too healthy for me. On second thought--no. There as many or more fruits in syrup as there are chunks of freshly cut choices. On the plus side the price is reasonable (for lunch at least, I haven't been here for dinner) and the dining room is attractive, clean and bright. Service (plate removal, drink refills) is fast. Pros: Reasonably priced, attractive dining room, fast service Cons: Not a lot of variety in meat dishes more
