My finace and I have been to Blue Ribbon Brooklyn several times - a few of those times were ""by accident"", when we had planned to go to other neighborhood restaurants and the wait was so long that we just ended up back at our old standby. We've never been disappointed. The food is very good, and there's enough variety on the menu for all (raw oysters or fried chicken? try the tomato soup!). The waiters are courteous and attentive. The prices are admittedly a bit high, but it's a great place to go if you're looking for somewhere special.
