Poor Service, Racial discrimination, ""Yankee"" Southern food 1/5/2007

My husband and I ate at Miss Mamie's twice and both times felt we were racially discriminated against. The first time we one of the only tables in the restaurant, more people came in about 30 minutes after we ordered, and THEY were served food first. We are both from the South and could have made better ""Southern"" soul food than what they served us. The chicken was dry and the mac and cheese was mediocre. It was overpriced for the quality and quantity of food we were served. Our one time 8oz glass of sweet tea was $3---very overpriced. We will NOT be eating there again! more
