Went there on New Years Eve after calling to verify there would be open seating in the bar area. When we arrived around 6:30 the hostess told us there would be about a two hour wait for bar seats, no problem I understand it's NYE. I pointed out an open table in the bar and she said they were holding it for someone. Guess there's no res. for the bar unless you're VIP. Went to the bar and asked for bartenders suggestion for glass of red wine and a margarita on the rocks- price $31. After getting a table we ordered al a carte from the prefixe menu. For an app we had ravioli (3 small pieces $20), main course for my girlfriend was abalone the size of box of tic tacs ($21) and I had the filet ($45). The one bright spot was our server who's name I think was Francesca. She was very knowledgeable and attentive despite the busy night. This wasn't our first visit to Boulevard and I know that it's not all about serving size, but I was disappointed by the flavor of the food, the price of the drinks abd the door staff's attitude.
