Change in Ownership = Bad News 1/11/2007

This place has always been reliable for inexpensive, down-home Indian food. In 2006, ownership changed hands and wow ... lots of changes, most of them bad. The food is still good - in fact, maybe even a bit better than it was. So that's nice. But the prices skyrocketed - honestly. Every single entree, especially the vegetarian ones and including the lunch buffet, increased in price $2-$4. The service used to be warm and friendly - but none of the old servers remain. They've been replaced by a group of very haughty men. The best things about this place - the simple food and friendly service - are now gone. more
