Amada is absolutely the best restaurant in Philly. It is one of the only places that lives up to the hype & is truly on the same level with top restaurants in New York. The decor is one of the best I have seen in Philly - refined & chic but not over-the-top like some (ahem Starr) restaurants. Most importantly, the food is absolutely divine. When I go, I usually just get a small plate and a signature drink as a treat because it's so $. However, when I ate a full course meal with friends, it was literally the best culinary experience of my life. If I could afford it I would go all the time.
Pros: atmosphere, food
Cons: parking, pricey
