I've been told by several people that I should check out Sophia's Pizza & Subs, as one of my favorite pursuits in life is to find the perfect Steak Philly.
Upon entering the resturant, I proceeded directly toward the restrooms to wash my hands. Before I could even step into the hallway, I was abruptly told by a staff member that the restroom was only for paying customers. I mentioned that I was a paying customer, that I was here to order and just wished to wash up beforehand. The person informed me that once I had actually placed an order and paid for it that I would be welcome to use the facilities.
Perhaps I am mistaken but this seems to me to be a terrible way to treat a customer. What happened to good faith? What happened to respect for the customer? What's with the "Gimme some cash and then we'll talk?" I simply told them that I found the atmosphere unappealing and walked out. Sadly, I have no idea how the Steak Philly was.
I won't be back.
