I attended the first meeting of the weight loss program - was asked how much I wanted to loss. I told Dr. Freshwater that I would like to get down to 165 lbs. her comment was - I don't see that is possible. I thought she was there to help you not hender you! I am trying my best - but I met with her one time after that and felt that I was just a number - not lossing, not gaining - was just told don't do it again. Now I feel if you need this kind of support you can do that good for your self. I feel that her bedside manners as you call it should take a hike and change the attitude of you can't and this is what I am here to do is help you in any way possible, you have our support. I hope that I get to my 165 lbs. because she'll be the first one to have it bite her in the bottom!! It my be unrealastic but if that is what I feel I want to do more power to me. I have people was understanding to her when she lost her 60 pounds, more then she was to all of us.
Pros: dr. rader cares - gives suggestions, wants to help you get back on track if you are off
Cons: dr. freshwater - needs to have a better attitude, treat people understandingly.
