A good Place to Live 9/17/2006

I've lived here for about 18 months. Before I rented the reviews were kinda scary: ""manager is an inconsiderate tramp, noisy parties"", etc. There apparently is a new management company - since I've been here it's been fine. My place is a touch run down (needs new carpet and a little paint) but certainly is acceptable, especially for 695/month in Roseville. It's roomy, clean, heats and cools cheaply. Has a full bath, dishwasher, plenty of closet space and a private deck. The layout apparently was done so no one else can look into my apartment - when I look out all I see is trees. Nice! \r \r The building exteriors need a little work (painting, etc) but it's getting done a little at a time. The tenants are pretty much working people, so there isn't a lot of late night noise - or for that matter noise any time. There are a lot of families, and so some kids, but they're pretty unobtrusive. Maintenance is here Mon-Fri full time and is very responsive. The lawns, etc are done every Monday so the place always looks sharp. \r \r There are several nice grocery stores and shopping centers within a mile or so, and it's about 5 minutes to Freeway 65, The Galleria, and the Costco/Home Depot/Winco et al complex on Fairway. I'm very happy here and would rent here again in a heartbeat. Pros: Good value for money Cons: Not a great place for image-conscious yuppies more
