I heard about this restaraunt and thought I'd give it a try. I was extremely disappointed. This restaraunt is as ""Persian"" as Burger King. As I waited for my dish to be served I laughed inside as they brought frozen Indian grocery store bread to my table! Persian ""Naan"" is made fresh in a clay oven and I guess they decided to waste money on decor rather than actually making authentic food. I ordered ""Barg"" which is a Filet Mignon sliced, skewered and grilled. I literally twiddled my thumbs for nearly 15 minutes waiting for it. When it came to my table it was ICE COLD and you could actually SEE the marinade rub on the meat. I try not to be a complainer so I went ahead and ate it. It was disgusting and cold and you could taste the strong uncooked marinade rub. Halfway through I couldn't take anymore so I told my waiter, ""Do you realize this is ice cold?"" and he insisted it was taken right off of the skewer. Riiiight. He kept saying ""I'm sorry"", yet, offered me nothing else other than his apology. You couldn't bring me out a 3 cent bowl of sweet or something? Just some kind of gesture. To add insult to injury I leaned over to take a final sip of my drink and saw there was something reddish in the ice cubes. I was too scared that it was an insect so I didn't even look closely enough because I was afraid the disgusting uncooked meat I force-fed myself combined with a critter in my drink would make me totally hurl. I showed it to the waiter and he laughed and said, ""Man, everything is just going wrong isn't it?"" Smaaart. He just kept saying sorry, so I paid, gave him a more than fair tip, and just left. I will never return.
Pros: Decent decor. Might be good for a party if the FOOD CAME FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Cons: Awful food. Undercooked. Possible health violations? Inadequate Service.
