This is a really great sushi joint for the most part. 4/5 times that I have been there everything was absolutely PERFECT. I recently went in to write a review for my new website critiqueing oregon cuisine and everything was spectacular except for one downfall - The rice on my rainbow roll had some kind of stange sauce on it that made a few of the left peices mushy. I think this is because we came in late. (Kind of considered rude in most traditional sushi joints) and they had to get rid of the last of the rice without making a bunch more just to finish one roll. While I understand this, they did lose a few points. All the rest of what we had was AMAZING. The gyoza was very tasty, fresh ingredients, and HOT off the grill. The 'hitchhiker' roll which is Salmon on top of a california roll with cream cheese in the middle, blew me away. The right side of the rainbow roll was exquisit as usual, but that used rice on the left bugged me! I suggest going earlier in the night for the freshest ingredients. Anyways, try it out! I highly recommend it and as everyone else has said the service is spectacular.
