my family and I have been going to Daimatsu for yrs , there were 3 owners working together passed down and learned from each other to create the best sushi , when owner #1 opened sushi was so new, now many restaurants after a decade have opened. Many opened by Chinese havn't mastered the quality Daimatsu offers although close, waiting for the best is not an issue for us, sometimes the restaurant is so busy on weekends you may have to wait for an hour, We watch how hard the chefs work to create Beautiful and delicious plates for us. we love it and it's worth it! Many times we have gone to the city and paid triple for the same maybe less quality Daimats has to offer..\r
if you want quailty AUTHENTIC JAPANESE go to Daimatsu and bring your family they accommediate everyone! Tues are our favorite night it's quiet and you get to talk more with the Chefs and staff.\r
the place is not fancy and kids are welcome, it's a BYOB and Daimatsu will store your sake for you so the next time you go it's there for you.\r
try their sushi pizza, it's not authentic in Japan but it was first created by the past owners , it's great! I've noticed other restaurants have tried to create it without success, anyways you can tell by now we love it there, it's not just a restaurant to us. it's a home!
