My boyfriend and I have been regulars at Jumpin Java for years. We knew this place before it became hip. At least three times a week we would follow our crave for their yummie blueberry and banana pancakes. From one day to the next the owner decided that putting real fruit into the batter would be a waste of expansive ingridients, and not only did he instruct his wait staff to refuse any requests for fruit additions but had the kitchen staff replace the blueberries with some non-descript dried blueberry flavored junk. While they are at it they should change the menu too: Blueberry FLAVORED Pancakes. Mmmh. Can't wait to hear when they switch to tuna flavored sandwiches.
