To start, the dance floor is terrible--the material grips your shoes in a way that makes it very hard to turn. Even the dance instructor hired by the Rumba Room acknowledged that the floor was bad. When parking is $10 and the cover is an additional $20, I expect better arrangements than that. The place itself went from being a ghost town to being so crowded that I barely had enough room to turn a lady. There were hardly any places to sit down, and you weren't allowed to step outside for fresh air without leaving the club permanently. The place is certainly slick in its appearance, but the overall atmosphere wasn't very friendly compared to some of the other places I have visited.
If you make reservations in advance, the cover is $10. Even at that reduced price, this place does not rank high on my list.
Pros: good music
Cons: bad dance floor
