Meyers has a great reputation in the area, and when I first contacted I really felt like things were going great. We had an in-town move (less than 5 miles), and were able to get a Saturday move date with very little notice and an agent stopped by the house and gave a preliminary quote. In retrospect, this is where I should have been more paranoid e.g., we were planning to move some items ourself and I had told the salesperson this, but the estimate included the whole house. I was assured that on the time of the move, the people would charge per hour and "of course" if we move some items ourselves the cost will be less. Long story short - the moving people saw the estimate (7 hours), and although we moved most of the items they still took 7 hours to move what little was left. Calls to the main office on Monday was never returned. Definitely would not recommend.
PROS: Men arrive with professional gear and big trucks
CONS: They look at the quote and make sure you pay that much
