You simply cannot find a better karate instructor in the central coast than Masayuki Ueoka. Trained in the University Karate Clubs of Japan in the 1960's he teaches the flawless and beautiful form of Shotokan Karate associated with the JKA (Japan Karate Association) karate. JKA Shotokan karate is the traditional karate of Japan, a highly effective form of self-defense aimed at generating tremendous force in the shortest time period. The workouts are rigorous but will put you in the best shape of your life. Look at a few of the karate or martial arts studios around town then come see a Monday or Wednesday night class at SBJKA. I think the instruction and approach to karate will speak for themselves.
