Enjoyed a group lunch with colleagues after wine tasting. Flavorful appetizers, including the fig and cheese crostini. The heirloom tomato salad had too many croutons and not enough salt. The lamb burger with mint aioli was cooked just right (I prefer medium well lamb) and was delightfully messy. French fries were clearly made from freshly cut potatoes, and had a nice crunchy outside but no fluffy crispy tenderness inside, somewhat resembling the fries at In-N-Out when ordered extra crunchy. Desserts were tasty, especially the berries in cream. Very nice relaxing setting. Service was friendly, although the waiting times for each course to appear was quite lengthy. Perhaps the kitchen was understaffed despite the dining room being only half full on a summer Friday early afternoon. Our manager selected some excellent wines with the meal. Nice place, glad we were being treated to the meal. Would return for a visit if in the neighborhood, but would not seek out another meal there just for the restaurant.
Pros: desserts, wines
Cons: slow kitchen
