I used to really like Le Languedoc and have eaten there a number of times. But I (and MANY friends) feel that the food has fallen off sharply recently, and that the service now ranges from inept to downright rude. On my most recent visit, they not only ""lost our reservation"" (which I confirmed the day before), but had the arrogance to insult me when I told them I had confirmed it. The unattractive and ditzy thirty-something hostess even addressed one of my female guests as ""missy"" when she tried to help work out a solution to the problem. There are far too many good restaurants in Nantucket to waste your money here!
