We had a really nice evening at AOC. The restaurant is decorated very simply, and it was a really nice ambiance. We sat at the wine bar, which I really enjoyed. Our waiter, Aaron, was very helpful in describing all of the wines, cheeses and tapas to us, and even let us do a little wine-tasting to see what we liked best. The blue cheese was incredible. - very strong taste and extremely creamy. The bacon-wrapped dates were to die for - we almost ordered more for dessert! I'd also highly recommend the arroz negro - very interesting, creamy and the saffron aioli has a nice, soft flavor. I'd definitely recommend AOC as a romantic dining experience.
Pros: extensive wine list, romantic, strong flavors
Cons: small space so you need a reservation and no groups
