We love this place. It's probably our favorite in LA and we've visited most of the foodie world's top joints. There, however, things to order and things to skip. Bacon wrapped dates are a must. Chicken liver crostini - another must. Coq au Vin - fantastic. Duck fat potatoes. Cheeses are usually very good, as is the wine list. Skirt steak didn't hold up for us. Mushrooms are average. Quail with foie gras should have been better. Charcuterie could be skipped. Still - everything on the menu is sure to be tasty and worth the price.
