I called on a Friday morning and was given an immediate quote and booking for Saturday morning. At 7:30p.m. on Friday night (mere hours before my scheduled cleaning), I received a message at home (with no return number or name) informing me that they had given me the wrong ""weekend rate"" and that the service was to be $6 more per hour than quoted. After scrambling to find the number, I called to cancel. Any business that quotes a customer and then calls to charge more is not only ludicrous, but makes me leary regarding all business practices. Fortunately, I received the ""message"" before having their staff show up at my home and demand more than agreed upon. It's not the money, it's the principle. They lost not only a first time customer, but a bi-monthly customer had service gone as expected. I'm very disappointed and horrified that companies still chose to conduct business this way. What ever happened to treating the customer with respect and honoring a business commitment (quote)? Buyer beware.
