This is a real, honest-to-goodness open kitchen Italian seafood place in the classic North End tradition. No hoity-toity attitudes here, just delicious fish and seafood, fresh from the sea, served up piping hot. The Monkfish Marsala is my favorite-- the owner told me he invented it for his wife years ago when they were newlyweds! No wonder there's almost always a line to get in.
Pros: Great food, fun atmosphere. A real North End experience.
Cons: Sometimes you have to wait in line to get a table.
