Slipping a bit, Yet still amazing 8/3/2006

I agree that Stonegrounds isn't the same as it used to be, it was my favorite pizza (The greek god was amazing!) but over the past few months the meatballs are a shadow of what they used to be. And I have been hearing similar feelings all around. However I know many folk who never even knew Stonegrounds served pizza because of their fascination with the pasta's or sandwiches. They are a definite must try! The smoked cheddar sauce is amazing and their tomato basil soup is as addictive as it ever was. And although its been a while since I had it their parmesan eggplant sandwich is the only eggplant I'll ever touch. Staff has always been courteous and quick to give out excellent recommendations. Though I only frequent the restaurant between lunch and 6pm weekdays, so I can relax among only a few other customers and watch the urban life below through their large window. But if your into hustle and bustle their Sunday pizza buffet is a nice way to become familiar with their variety. Pros: Still has that undiscovered feel and inclusive ambience Cons: On the pricey side, but you'll be too full to care more
