Friends had suggested this as an excellent place to dine. However, going to a ""nice"" restaurant one would expect great service, as food and atmosphere are important. Great service is the key to the entire experience! Friends and I went on a not-so-busy Friday night and were ignored! When our waitress got around to taking our order (We had already been there for 45min.) she had the nerve to ask if we needed more time with the menu! After ordering, it took over an hour for our food to be served. I was so hungry I couldn't even enjoy it. My soup was cold, not that I think heat would have made a difference in taste. The base was sour, which was not expected from a ""Sweet"" corn chowder with crab. I was able to order one cocktail and never asked if I would have liked another. We had been discussing ordering some wine but were never given the opportunity to do so. After a lengthy discussion at the table we decided that the manager should be informed, so that such an issue would not occur in the future. The manager came over and couldn't have been bothered with our politely offered complaint. She never even attempted an apology which was perhaps the most shocking event of the evening.
Pros: Blueberry Martini was excellent!
Cons: Service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
