Classic. This place has been around for over fifty years and it's a staple in the Pittsburgh area. I'm usually not too crazy about icecream but when I'm in Pittsburgh during the summer I visit every chance I get. Ignore any bad reviews you see, the people who leave them don't know good icecream when they taste it. \r

The line can stretch all the way to the curb during their busiest times. It's worth the wait. Don't be discouraged by a long line. Service is provided through drive-through style windows. There are two choices once you're served: stand around the building or sit in your vehicle and eat. They have no seats but that ties into the entire experience.\r

This is a family business and it's been that way since 1951. They know how to make an icecream just about any way you like. Probably the only icecream shop that offers a three different dip flavors.\r

If you visit the Steel City, stop by the Steel City's favorite icecream shop. Enough said.
