The atmosphere in this bar is great. Like many small bars in the region, it boasts of an age when wood from this region was abundant and feels very homey. While the service can vary (college town), the food, especially the ""Shuberger"" is absolutely delightful. There are items of interest displayed on the walls and if you are going on a Friday night, plan to arrive early as the regulars love this place and it is hard to find a seat.
