I tried this restaurant after a few friends said ""it's a must""... but was expecting the same old mediocre mexican (think Casa Vega... no thank you!). After getting over the enormous menu plastered on the wall, I ordered... and I became a loyal customer! The food is EXCEPTIONAL... very tasty, very authentic, and very quick! I was thinking maybe Baja Fresh because it was more like ""fast food"", but boy was I wrong! Everything I've had there is better than good, and it's very affordable. Don't expect a romantic evening... this all about people (in small groups) having fun, chatting it up, and being super casual. Believe me, you won't be sorry... no matter what part of the city you live in, this is worth the drive!
