Quartino is unlike any other restaurant I have ever been to...Italian or otherwise. Some have described it as Italian tapas. You pretty much order up a bunch of plates, and then everyone at the table takes some from each plate. It is an excellent way to sample a bunch of different foods. I am a huge fan of the Gnocchi (potato dumplings in a pesto sauce). Also, the suasage pizza is awesome. And for dessert I like the Sgroppino; it's like a milkashake with a kick *wink*.
Pros: Unique restaurant concept in the Chicagoland area.
Cons: The uninitiated may find it daunting at first.
