Santa Maria-style BBQ is tri-tip cooked over a red oak fire, carved thin and served with pinquito beans, garlic bread, and fresh salsa. This place does it right. A customer said ""This is how a restaurant should smell"" when he walked in. Located in a corner of a strip mall, though nicely decorated, it's a basic kind of place. I've eaten there on a Saturday night and frankly, between the bar on one side and the tatoo shop on the other and the closed auto repair places all over, I'll only go for lunch, thanks very much.
