Having been a Wake Forest student I am very familiar with No. 1 Chinese being that they left a menu under our dorm doors at least once a week. Although their late hours are great if you're hungry, the food is less than one would expect even from a Chinese takeout restaurant. The food lacks much flavor, and often tastes stale. If you're up late and just want something to put in your stomach its not a bad idea, otherwise stay away. In the same area Malay Chinese on Reynolda is a much better choice, although they do not deliver, and Great China if you really don't want to leave your house.
