I took my boyfriend to Frasca for a romantic birthday. We went for one of those Monday night 3 course meals paired with wine. I will say that it is a very elegant space, and the service is professional, though they lack the personal flare. Our server didn't seem to really care about us, though for the most part, he did his job. Maybe it's becase we look young? We ordered an estra appetizer to go with our meal, and never recieved it. After the first course arrived, our server remembered, though he never asked if we still wanted it, and never brought it to us. We were not impressed with the wine for the evening AT ALL, though were impressed with the wine list. We would have definately had a better experience if we had had our choice of the wine. I know this is the price you pay for a pre-fixe meal, but I was dissapointed that the sommellier would have allowed such mediocre wine. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to talk my boyfriend into going back... I am very happy that so many others have had such positive experiences.
