I'm not sure how this restaurant wins the best restaurant category year after year. Not that it's bad but it's surely not the best. The food was good, but it's not anything special. The best part was the appetizers: we had creamed corn soup with shrimp and abalone. It seems a bit ridiculous to pay $40 for filet mignon when it's not prepared any differently than I might have at home. With the same amount of money, I'd rather spend it on Michael Mina or Fleur de Lys or Gary Danko.
Pros: great service, nice ambiance
Cons: not great quality or value for the money
