Good old-fashioned diner with a hearty menu. There are better places in Emmett to have dinner, (try Timber's), lunches are good if you like a diner-style burger and fries, but breakfast at Gerikens can't be beat. Watch out though, by 10am that place is crank'n and it may be difficult to get a table. Pancakes and waffles are the signature dishes, but just about anything on the breakfast menu is satisfying. The place is pretty old and it's not much for ambiance. But since when was a diner supposed to be romantic?
