I have used Dan's pharmacy for a couple of years, and really enjoy the small town feel of a neighborhood pharmacy that is not associated with a major grocery store nor is a major chain itself. What I like best, though, is getting my prescriptions filled in 10 minutes or less. The prescription prices are comparable to the major chain pharmacies. However, other items are a bit more expensive. I can't imagine paying $9 for an ice bag. Candy and soft drinks are on part with convenience stores. Still, Dan does sell powdered sulfur for insect relief. I like non standard items in a store. There is also a drive thru service and flu and pneumonia shots are available. Hours are a bit shorter than the major chains, but I always felt I got more personalized service.
