I recently had to have a battery and an alternator replaced. They tried to charge me $209.00 to install a new battery in my car, and then tried to charge me $288.00 for an alternator that they themselves purchased from Advanced Auto Parts for $180.00, I know this because I was on the phone with Advanced Auto Parts when they called to purchase the alternator. They offer a price match but when I received a quote from Monro Muffler that was two blocks away from their store, the manager yelled at me and told me that the only reason that Monro quoted me a lower price was to steal the business from him. I had to fight with them trying to charge me $768.00 to replace an alternator and a battery, when Monroe Muffler quoted $630.00. Will NEVER take my car there again.
