I walked in thinking this place was just another trendy hot spot in the beach scene which generally comes with bad food and bad service. But as soon as I got inside I was greeted very cordially by the hostess although I did not have a reservation. She told me it would be a short wait and that I could grab a quick drink at the bar. By the time my friend arrived the table was ready and we were sat right away. Soon after being sat the server came by and told us about the evening specials one of which was a delicious fig salad. It was so refreshing to be at a place where they actually have authentic european food. The server told me all about the menu. I was suprised to learn from the owner, when he came by to check on us, that he had his mother in from Greece to help prepare the menu! The feta, he said, comes from his hometown Epirus. It was amazing. The best feta I have ever had. I didn't get a chance to try anything from there interesting wine menu...but I definitely will be going back again. I had a delicious ""aphrodite"" which was actually huge...a bit too much alcohol. We did wait a while for the desert, but it was definitely worth it. The chocolate mousse was amazing. All in all it was a great experience. It's not your average dine and run type of place.
Pros: Great food, service, and patio seating is lovely on a nice day.
Cons: Can get a bit crowded between 7 and 8...better to go later
