iM NOT SURE WHAT THE OTHER REVIEWS ARE TALKING ABOUT!! I have been to this place several times lunch, brunch, and dinner. The food is outstanding! The service is young but fun and honest. Im sure it is hard to find professional service staff members on an island so I think people should give them some slack. There is a professional waiter who I think must work all the time because every time we go there for dinner he is there and we have found him there during lunch also. We live in Seattle and take the boat over to enjoy this place at least 1 or twice a month. The menu changes frequently and we do try new things every time. It has had great reviews from Sunset magazine to Seattle Weekly and Seattle Times. We have been there when it is slow and when it was packed and the food tasted and looked great as always. Im not sure what is up with City Search reviewers because I think it is an insult to get reviews like that from these people. Maybe it is a conspiracy of sorts because it really does not ring true. The scallop dish is so unique and it has been written about by food professionals as being one of the most innovative dishes ever. The back room is great for private parties as we had a party of 14 there this last Winter and we were very pleased. Everyone in our party ( from out of town ) we very impressed. Please give this place a try. It has been operating for over 6 years and very busy so it is hard to ignore those facts. Yes the Bread Pudding is great. My wife and I ordered a whole one for a private function in Bellevue and every one said it was the best ever. As far as prices are concerned it is no more expensive than other restaurants in the city that we pass on because when we get on that boat for a short 35 min ride we feel as though were getting away. We sometimes order dessert to-go with a couple of plastic forks and sit on top of the boat and watch the sun set as we enjoy it. So if you want to have an experience woth talking about... GO TO THIS PLACE IT ROCKS\r
