I don't know about the ""kiddy studio"" but the film scanning service is horrible. I had five 35mm color rolls developed there and digital files made and it cost 86 dollars! The negatives turned out OK but the scans were awful. The files were squashed to a mere 250 kb or so. You couldn't even squeeze a good 3x5 out of them. I called back to try to get uncompressed versions and he said he only had the same tiny files. This place is not with it enough to be charging their outrageous prices for their digital service.
