I am originallly from New York, and presently live in Chicago. I stopped by on my way from a road trip from Florida to Chicago and was craving Asian food. We drove by the interstate and stopped at a gas station in a town called Lafayette and asked a couple beside us if they knew of a good restaurant which served Japanese or Korean food. They said that there was restaurant in downtown about 2 miles down the road. We found a restaurant in a building not too noticeable. We circled a couple blocks and finally got to the destination. We went in and ordered two appetizers. One of which was called Seafood Pancake that looked like a pizza. The sauce was incredible! Also, we ordered some kind of roll that was tempura fried. For dinner we ordered a box which had beautiful assortments of food and also a Seafood Pasta. The food was very flavorful and and full of color. It was a roll that I have now request at my favorite Japanese restaurant in Chicago. The interior was great, very contemporary and modern. The service was great considering the restaurant was packed on Tuesday night for their martini or sake night. I absolutely love this restaurant and would love for them to open in Chicago.
Pros: great ambiance, great music, great food
Cons: can't find the place because it's a bit hidden
