Salad Artists of the Stoneware Canvas 6/8/2006

If you like salads then Greenz is the place for you. They can turn a salad into a very filling main course. There are purely vegetarian recipies like their Apple Walnut salad in a champagne vinaigrette, accented with warm brie pastries that resemble toasted yellow rosebuds. If you like a little more meat to accent your super salad, opt for their Chicken Chipotle ""Fresh greens, shredded chicken, tomatoes, jack cheese and toasted pecans. Mixed with zesty chipotle cream dressing and topped with crispy tortilla strips."" That's good too, and it was so filling I had to have a take-home box despite the fact that I'm a 6'2"" muscular giant. They can also take any salad and make it into a portable wrap for on the go. They also have some soups too. A good meal of a salad and a drink is about $11, not fast-food price and not overly expensive. The food is good, however the menu is a little short. Then again maybe this kind of place doesn't need a big menu, as the neighborhood is a boom during lunch hours.\r \r The atmosphere is quite posh, as is everything in Addison Circle. The inside is a bit too dark and noisy for me, so I always make a point of sitting on the patio outside. You get a very nice view of the circle and the giant blue sculpture.\r \r Check out their website ( http://www.greenzsalads.com ) for pictures of many menu items and to sign up for special offers. I just got a coupon for a $2 second entree! Hmm, now I have an idea for where to eat tonight. Pros: Healthy menu, nice patio atmosphere, great taste Cons: garage parking, interior dining is noisy more
