My boyfriend and I went to Northwoods hoping for something elegant and romantic. As much as we appreciate great food, we both feel that atmosphere and ambience are equally important. Fortunately, the food was pretty good. Unfortunately, the setting was not. We were seated much too closely to the surrounding tables and the lights were far too bright! It felt neither romantic nor elegant. We were especially dissatisfied when we were I.D.ed after ordering a half bottle of white wine. We are both 23 and felt put out and downright embarrassed about being i.d.'ed at a ""fancy"" restaurant.
