Since the early eighties we have never been disappointed walking out the door with a pizza to go from either location. My Italian wife swears they use the best Italian sausage in town - I dunno, but it is better than any other I've had on a pizza. For all I know it could be off the shelf from WalMart, but IT IS GOOD.
Burned crust - Never. Pie size - large is 2 days worth of games.
Only improving since opening the original location on Stark.
Don't expect Jerusalem artichokes marinated in fragrant rain water that has been stored in Patagonian copper urns at 44.7 degrees, and only collected from leaf tips of organic lilies grown exactly on the 45th parallel, by drab people softly humming melodies more common on Himalayan trails.
Just go get a simple, hearty pizza.
We give it 4 olives on 4 fingers up.
Pros: Grande pies, molto bene sausage, nice crust
Cons: Northern Jersey decor
