I was amazed at how this place with such a good reputation could give me such a hassle! First of all, they tried to reschedule me twice. I requested to have a haircut with DJ (the owner). They continuoulsy tried to reschedule me with someone else after they had already scheduled me with her. The day FINALLY came for my appointment and then she said she did not have time. She offered to reschedule again and said she would like for my cut to be modeled and displayed with the other stylist and agreed to do it for free. She told me to call back in a couple of hours after leaving the salon, when she could check her schedule. I called back and she would not accept my phonecalls (she was busy) and after I left a message, she didn't ever call me back. I was polite the enitre time. Although I was frustrated, I didn't show it and I was excited to get a free haircut and a model!!! I am wondering if that was just her way of blowing me off. She never followed through with what she planned. It took me an hour (one way) to get there but I was still willing to give it another chance. She is the owner and it just seems she would have more respect for her customers and follow through with what she initially planned. No discounts were offered for my services for that day (a color). I even tipped the colorist. I guess there is no respect for the costumer, now there is no respect for their business and the way they conduct it. I wished things would have been different. I love the atmosphere. It was the fact that the actual owner behaved in such a manner that I hope doesn't reflect on her employees as well. Pros: ambience Cons: parking, no respect for customer more
