I happened to take my car a week ago to Tires Plus to get my usual oil change. Up until this point, I had been very happy with their service. I realize mistakes do happen, but this one cost my car its engine. Either the cap was not tightened on my new oil filter, or some other problem occurred, but basically I heard a pop under my car, while i was driving, then the engine area started steaming and the grand finale was when the dashboard lit up saying the engine needed repair as soon as possible. The good news is that the store is taking care of everything and paying for a rental car until my car is once again in my possession.
