I've been going to Take Sushi since it opened. They've taught me to go from ""cooked"" things(great wasabi shumai and yam yam rolls) to BBQ eel to toro(fatty tuna) straight sashimi plates. My children, who've lived all over the country, still think Take Sushi is the best and has outstandingly great prices so we always go there when they return to Detroit. The edamame, yam yam roll, spider roll, and tataki appetizer are favorites. Staff is friendly, quick, and informative. Most fun to sit at the sushi bar and watch and ask questions. That way I tried the ""spicey"" salad with bits of raw tuna in it. Wonderful!
