From beginning to end, this is what a historical dining experience should be. Upon arival, the period-dressed doormen directed us to the underground bar. There the bartender, a gentleman with a pencil-thin mustache crafted the PERFECT martini and told us the history of the Hotel and restaurant. We then dined in the Capitol Grille. Every course was more impressive than the last. Roncie, our server was on top of everything through out the night. We then retreated to the upstairs lobby to finish our drinks on plush chairs by the fireplace. The all-male service staff accents the professionalism of the establishment. It doesn't get much better than this!
