Upon the reccomendation of two total strangers, we tried out this gem. . First off, we won a raffled bottle of Champange. Second the chef came to the table a couple times to tell us what to eat. vodka sauce with gnocchi, veal chops with a brandy cream, Twin South African Lobster Tails. I ate two shrimp for dinner (there were four on the plate and it was a good solid pound) The shrimp were from Thailand and are classified as 2-4 count - meaning that there were between two and four shrimp per pound. The wine flowed all night, the fireplace roared, $209.00 for four. Well worth every cent, in the middle of nowhere - - - make the drive and do your self the favor of slowing down to turn in and park. Should be Zagat rated.
Pros: Good Parking, reasonably priced, live entertainment
Cons: FOX LAKE
